2009 Grant Funding Now Closed

The 2009/10 budget for Business Crime Reduction Grant Funding is now fully spent. An application for additional funds for 2010/11 has been made but at this stage it is unclear as to if an award will be made.

  Grant Funding Announcement  2009 

East Midlands Development Agency through DDEP is supporting business crime prevention measures accross Derbyshire County, through a substantial grant to Derbyshire Constabulary.

This grant is being administered through Derbyshire Safeguard which is committed to supporting 300 businesses before the end this financial year 09/10.

This funding is being used in three ways;

• To support eligible businesses needing to carry out capital security improvements with match funding grants.
• The provision of low cost crime prevention aids to businesses
• Subscription subsidy for Derbyshire Safeguard (Business Silver)
